Rowena MT Brimacombe

I am the proud owner of Strawberry Hill Forest School, which I opened in September 2023, blending my passion for early childhood education with a love of nature-based learning. Prior to this, I co-founded a Preschool in 2010, where I laid the foundation for many years of nurturing young minds.

I hold a Foundation Degree in Early Years Education and an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning, and Development. With over 25 years of experience working with children and young people, I’ve had the privilege of engaging in a variety of roles, including childminder, warranted leader of Rainbows and Brownies, children's events coordinator for an international women’s group, playgroup leader in Denmark, host parent for international students, and youth worker.

As a parent of three and a grandparent of seven, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges of raising children, which deepens my commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive care and education. I have also completed training in paediatric first aid, safeguarding, and supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), which ensures I can offer a safe and nurturing environment for every child.

Above all, I love working with children and feel incredibly privileged to be part of their early learning journeys, helping them grow, explore, and develop in ways that support their individual potential.
